What is it about the 1st of January that makes it so special. I believe the New Year ushers in twelve months worth of wonderful opportunities. Now, I’m not here to suggest we leave all of our responsibilities from the past year by the wayside but rather we welcome 2025 with open arms and open minds – with a confident step towards the life we want to be living. And before you make your mind up to be “too set in your ways” I want you to remember the words of literary legend C.S. Lewis when he said, “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream!”
No doubt there are more than a few of you thinking how great it would be to MOVE in 2025. I’m certainly here to help make that goal a reality! Even if you’re not quite ready to buy or sell it’s never too early to connect. In fact, now is the perfect time to get the ball rolling – from conducting market evaluations on your current home to establishing your ‘Dream Home Style’ and identifying your ‘Desired Neighbourhood.’ Having your goals registered on my radar ensures you’re one step closer to making it happen. Perhaps you are happy with where you’re living and your New Year’s goals are geared towards sprucing up your space instead. There are so many ways to enhance your home that will make it more your own and increase the value should you ever decide to sell in the future. It’s long been established kitchen remodels reap the highest return on resale, so if that’s on your “To Do” list for 2025 – be sure to have a look at what the experts have cited for this year’s “18 Must-Have Ideas for a Dream Kitchen.”
Sometimes just a fresh coat of paint is all it takes to transform a home, and while what colour covers your walls might be the most personal of all decisions, there are some design trends for the New Year you might be happy to hear. Especially if you’ve been longing to lose that tired whitewash or builders’ beige. According to the experts, 2025 marks a time to welcome warm earthy natural shades, bold jewel tones and even black accents to your home. Yes, this brand New Year is bringing in all kinds of colour.
